At Vaidai, customer satisfaction is our utmost priority. This policy outlines how you can return or exchange your purchase and receive a refund.
Overview
Our return policy lasts 15 days. If 15 days have passed since your purchase was delivered, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
Return Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:
- Unopened & Unused: The product packaging must be completely intact with the seal unbroken.
- Original Packaging: The product must be in its original Vaidai pouch/packaging with all labels intact.
- No Tampered Seal: If the product seal has been broken or the product has been used, it is not eligible for return.
- Receipt/Proof of Purchase: You must provide the original receipt, order confirmation email, or invoice.
- 15-Day Window: Return requests must be initiated within 15 days of the product delivery date.
⚠️ Important: For food safety and hygiene reasons, we do not accept opened or used herbal tea products. If the packaging was damaged during delivery, please take photos immediately and inform us.
Non-Returnable Items
Several types of items are not eligible for return:
- ✗ Opened or used tea products (food safety reasons)
- ✗ Products with broken or tampered seals
- ✗ Products without original packaging
- ✗ Gift cards or promotional vouchers
- ✗ Sale/clearance items (unless defective)
- ✗ Custom or personalized orders (if any)
Damaged or Defective Products
If you received a damaged or defective product, we will provide an immediate replacement at no additional cost:

- Immediate Notification: Contact us via WhatsApp/Email within 24 hours of delivery
- Photo Evidence: Send clear photos of the product, packaging, and seal
- Quick Verification: We will verify the issue within 24-48 hours
- Free Replacement: For verified cases, we will immediately ship a replacement at no cost
- No Return Shipping: You do not need to return the damaged product to us

How to Initiate a Return
Our return process is simple and straightforward:

Reach out via WhatsApp (+91 8804777707) or Email (hello@vaidai.in) with:
• Your order number
• Reason for return
• Photo of product (if applicable)
We will provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and return shipping address within 24 hours.
Pack the product securely in its original packaging. Use the return shipping label we provide. Note: Return shipping charges are to be borne by the customer (unless the product was defective/damaged).
Once we receive your return, we will inspect it within 2-3 business days and process your refund.
Refund Processing
Refund Timeline:
- Inspection: 2-3 business days after receiving the returned product
- Approval Notification: Email confirmation within 24 hours of approval
- Refund Credit: 5-10 business days (depending on payment method)
Refund Methods:
- Online Payment (UPI/Card): Refund to original payment method
- Cash on Delivery (COD): Bank transfer via NEFT/IMPS (bank details required)
- Wallet/Gift Card: Credit to the same wallet
💳 Note: Shipping charges are non-refundable (unless the product was damaged/defective). If you used a free shipping offer, the actual shipping cost will be deducted from your refund amount.
Exchanges
We accept exchanges for products of same or higher value:
- Same product different variant (e.g., PCOS Tea to Butterfly Pea Tea)
- Higher value product (you pay the price difference)
- Lower value product (refund difference as store credit)
- Exchanges must also be within the 15-day window
- Exchange shipping charges apply (unless product was defective)

Order Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Guidelines:
- Before Dispatch: You can cancel your order free of charge. Full refund within 3-5 business days.
- After Dispatch: Cancellation is not allowed. Please follow the return process after delivery.
- How to Cancel: Send us an immediate message on WhatsApp (+91 8804777707) with your order number.
Special Cases
🎁 Gift Returns:
If you received a product as a gift and wish to return it, the refund will be issued as store credit. We cannot process cash refunds to the original purchaser for gifted items.
📦 Bulk Orders (5+ Units):
Special return policies apply to bulk orders. Please discuss with us in advance. Generally, a 20% restocking fee may apply.
